Terms and Conditions

Open Water Diver

  1. A non-refundable and non-transferable registration fee of Php 10,000/student is required for enrolment. Upon enrolment and registration in the MySSI system, the student will gain access to their digital learning materials.
  2. The remaining balance of the course fee must be paid upon completion of the first pool session.
  3. It is the student’s responsibility to obtain any medical clearance for any underlying condition/s if necessary. Metro Divers is not liable for any injuries that happen during training that is related to the student’s condition/s. Dive Assure Dive insurance is included for the duration of your course.
  4. Cancelations on pool sessions made less than 48 hours before the session, unless for health or emergency purposes, will forfeit the pool session, and a remedial class must be scheduled. Remedial classes are Php 3,800 per person per session.
  5. In the event that the student is unable to complete the program before beginning digital learning for any reason, 50% of the registration fee will be forfeited. Please fill up the official Metro Divers refund form.
  6. In the event that the student is unable to complete the program after beginning digital learning for any reason, no additional cancelation fees will be charged, but the registration fee will be forfeited.
  7. In the event that the student is unable to complete the program after starting in-person training for any reason, he/she will still be charged the full course fee.
  8. The student must make at least 80% on the written exams to pass. The student may take the exam as many times as they want.
  9. It is the student’s responsibility to provide their complete information, including mailing address, in order for Metro Divers to process certifications more efficiently.
  10. Certifications and recognitions will be processed once full payment has been made and the student has no outstanding charges.

Other Courses

  1. A non-refundable and non-transferable registration fee amounting to 50% of total course fee is required for enrolment. Upon enrolment and registration in the MySSI system, the student will gain access to their digital learning materials.
  2. The remaining balance of the course fee must be paid on or before the first day of in-person training. 
  3. It is the student’s responsibility to obtain any medical clearance for any underlying condition/s if necessary. Metro Divers is not liable for any injuries that happen during training that is related to the student’s condition/s.
  4. Cancelations on checkout dive weekends made less than 7 days before the trip, unless for health or emergency purposes, will incur a Php 3,000 cancelation fee per student, on top of cancelation fees incurred from cancelation of accommodations (if applicable).
  5. In the event that the student is unable to complete the program before beginning digital learning for any reason, 50% of the registration fee will be forfeited. Please fill up the official Metro Divers refund form.
  6. In the event that the student is unable to complete the program after beginning digital learning for any reason, no additional cancelation fees will be charged, but the registration fee will be forfeited.

Fun Dives

  1. All bookings are only considered booked/reserved/confirmed upon receipt of required downpayment, payable within 15 days of booking. Cancelation of booking will forfeit the downpayment.
  2. Any remaining balance, including charges incurred during the trip, must be paid upon check-out, before leaving the resort.
  3. Cancelations made less than 72 hours before the trip will forfeit any downpayment made, unless for emergency and health reasons.
  4. In the event of bad weather with the trip being canceled 14 days prior to the trip, a full refund will be issued. However, Metro Divers is not liable for costs incurred in changing or rebooking any flights or accommodations.
  5. If cancelation is made by the operators/tour provider, a full refund will be issued. However, Metro Divers is not liable for costs incurred in changing or rebooking any flights or accommodations.
  6. It is the guest’s responsibility to obtain any medical clearance for any underlying condition/s if necessary. Metro Divers is not liable for any injuries that happen during the trip that is related to the student’s condition/s.
  7. Waiver of liability agreements and indemnities are to be signed before beginning activities..
  8. Payment of the deposit shall be deemed as acceptance of these terms. 
  9. Metro Divers will try its best to make the trip a success, but safety will always be the first consideration when weather conditions are concerned.

Dive Travel

  1. All bookings are only considered booked/reserved/confirmed upon receipt of 50% non-refundable and non-transferrable downpayment of the whole package rate, payable within 15 days of booking. Cancelation of booking will forfeit the downpayment.
  2. The remaining balance must be paid 15 days before the start of the trip, otherwise the guest’s slot will be canceled.
  3. Cancelations made less than 14 days before the trip will incur a 50% cancelation charge (forfeiture of downpayment), 60% for 10 days before, and 100% cancelation fee for 7 days or less.
  4. In the event of bad weather with the trip being canceled 14 days prior to the trip, a full refund will be issued. However, Metro Divers is not liable for costs incurred in changing or rebooking any flights or accommodations.
  5. If cancelation is made by the operators/tour provider, a full refund will be issued. However, Metro Divers is not liable for costs incurred in changing or rebooking any flights or accommodations.

  7. Any transfers and accommodations outside of provided itinerary and inclusions are to be arranged by guests themselves.

  10. With the weather clause, it is advisable for all guests to consider getting travel insurance prior to the trip.
