By becoming a Nitrox diver, you have the advantage of extending your bottom times and safety margins while reducing surface intervals. This means you get to spend more time exploring underwater and less time waiting on the surface. The Nitrox program offers an opportunity to acquire new skills and expand your diving knowledge, all while learning the safe planning and execution of dives using enriched air mixtures containing up to 40% oxygen. After successfully completing the program, you will receive an SSI Enriched Air Nitrox certification with either a 32% or 40% oxygen content.
